The Sioux Lookout Friendship Accord partners are heading to PDAC International Conference in Toronto on March 4th, 2017 after they celebrate the signing of two historic documents in Thunder Bay, according to the media alert distributed Feb 28, 2017.
This event in Thunder Bay will be hosted jointly by Lac Seul First Nation, Cat Lake First Nation, Slate Falls First Nation, Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug, the Municipality of Sioux Lookout, Township of Pickle Lake and First Mining Finance Corporation.
The theme is: Shared Lands, Shared Benefit, Shared Future

Twelve First Nation delegates from the Sioux Lookout, Ontario region are heading to the PDAC International Convention in Toronto on March 4th, 2017, the world’s leading convention for people, companies and organizations in, or connected with, mineral exploration and finance.
Prior to their departure they will assembling in Thunder Bay March 3rd, 2017, to ratify two historic documents; an Expansion to the Sioux Lookout Friendship Accord and a Shared Territory Protocol Agreement, followed by an Economic Development Update in Shared Territory.
Municipality of Sioux Lookout's PDAC Reception to be held 3 – 5 pm - March 7th, 2017, at the Fairmont Royal York - Toronto. It should be noted that during this reception folks will have the opportunity to be introduced to numerous projects in the region including Wataynikaneyap Power First Nation Led Transmission Line, Regional Distribution- Far North Logistics, Mineral Exploration- East West Transportation hub, First Mining Finance Corporation, Rockex Limited, Danieli, Noront Resources and more.
